The choice of inverter should corrispond to the PV-array design requirements. As the inverter often is considered the weak point in terms of longevity of a PV-installation, it is imperative to put quality before price.
Some important considerations are:
- efficiency warranties declared by the manufacturer
- overall warranty given by the manufacturer
- certifications
- operating conditions
As design engineers we are not bound by a single brand and we constantly follow market developments in order to be able to consult and propose the best solution regarding the implemented inverter or inverters with the best quality-price relationship.
